General Terms: These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Easy Cart SA marketplace and the services provided by Easy Cart SA in South Africa. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
Order Packaging: Sellers are required to package their parcels within the supplied bags provided for courier collection. Packaging should ensure that the products remain secure during transport.
Waybill Printing: Once a courier has been booked to collect an order, the seller is responsible for printing the waybill. This waybill should be attached to the parcel in a visible location for the courier's easy identification.
Shipping Errors: If a wrong product is shipped, a penalty charge may be applied. In the case where the error is due to the seller's fault, the seller will bear the responsibility for the return shipping fees and any other associated costs.
Courier Collection: The seller agrees to ensure that the parcel is ready for collection at the specified time. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or delays.
Return Fees: Should a return be required due to a mistake by the seller, the seller will be billed for the return shipping fees. This applies if the wrong item is shipped or the product is damaged during delivery due to improper packaging.
Product Accuracy: It is the seller's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the products listed, including product description, pricing, and stock availability. Any errors should be corrected promptly to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
Penalties for Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with the packaging and shipping guidelines may result in penalties, including but not limited to, fines, suspension of services, or permanent removal from the Easy Cart SA platform.
Refunds and Returns: Refunds and returns will be processed according to Easy Cart SA’s return policy. If the error is on the part of the seller, the seller will be responsible for return costs and processing fees.
Account Suspension: Easy Cart SA reserves the right to suspend or deactivate any account that violates these terms or engages in fraudulent activities.
Modification of Terms: Easy Cart SA reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Sellers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
Liability: Easy Cart SA is not liable for any damage or loss that may occur during the shipping process. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products are adequately insured for delivery.
